art section is curated by Andrea Bruciati and Ljudmilla Socci for which I will be showing a new performance title

'DO IT 20 13'
The Space online gallery by the BBC and Arts Council England presents a selection of invited artist's responses to instructions from DO IT 20 13.
Do it was conceived in 1993 when Hans Ulrich Obrist teamed up with artists Christian Boltanski and Bertrand Lavier to create a series of instructions with contributions by well-known figures in contemporary art as a means of stretching conceptions
of what art is, who should enact it, and how. do it 20 13 celebrates its 20th anniversary at this year’s Manchester International Festival.

'Black Curtain Auto-Portraits'
For Konstcentralen Video & Performance Event I will show the performance
Black Curtain Auto-Portraits pivoting around the artist, the easel and the mirror. In the artist’ studio I will paint the subject that artists of all times have used for study and to develop their style. In a series of self-portraits I will
explore the presence of the red curtain, but in a world of black and white.
In the video screening programme I will premier redandblue.onwhite.againstgreen. The screening will run inbetween performances on Saturday and 4pm-8pm on Sunday.

'Death Waiting'
In this performance
Death is resuming its traditional role of waiting. The performance will first be shown unannounced* at the Åre lake at dawn. Later the character
Death will return to resume its waiting, now positioned outside the Grädda Bakery in Åre. This appearance is set to take place on 4 April at the close of day, and the sun sets around 7 pm.
*the exact date and time are not set, but sunrise occur at approximately 6 am.
Åre is situated in the Jämtland mountains in Northern Sweden.
